How can I navigate uncertainty about my future without feeling pressure to have everything figured out by the time I graduate?

Hi Friend, this is such a real feeling, especially when navigating through college and not having everything figured out. In the face of uncertainty, you may try asking yourself, “Do I have a plan even if the plan goes off the rails?” It helps to ground you, and  also helps you know to take it day by day when you are thinking about the future. It is great to have the future in mind,  but when you worry too much about it, it could become overwhelming.

One of the best strategies is to take a day by day approach.  Sometimes the fastest way to get anywhere is slow and steady steps to the finish line.  Also give yourself the grace to not have it all figured out by graduation. You never know how long it takes for the journey that you’re on and your path is your own. Don’t let the weight of the world or the pressure of the world make you feel like you have to have it all figured out. Realistically, very few do; so allow yourself grace but have strategies and a plan in place. It is easy to quickly become  overwhelmed with the pressures of life.  Always remember take a day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute approach, because when you are stuck in the future, you miss the gift that is the present. I hope this helps and have the most fantastic day!!!
